Request that we correct any personal information that we collect from or about you. Note that if we are not able to address your request, we will inform you. We may not be able to address your request if we are not able to verify your identity, if we consider that the totality of circumstances and determine that the information is more likely than not accurate, if your request to correct the same alleged inaccuracy has been denied within the past six months, or if we believe a request is fraudulent or abusive. We may choose to delete the contested information if such deletion does not negatively impact you, or if you consent to deletion.

We value your privacy and will not discriminate in response to your exercise of your privacy rights. We will confirm receipt of your request within 10 business days and will respond to your request within 45 calendar days, after proper verification, unless we need additional time, in which case we will let you know.
E. Authorized Agents
You may authorize someone to make a privacy rights request on your behalf (an authorized agent). Authorized agents will need to demonstrate that you’ve authorized them to act on your behalf, and that they are registered with the California Secretary of State to conduct business in California, or must demonstrate they have power of attorney pursuant to applicable probate law. NLC Energy retains the right to request confirmation directly from you confirming that the agent is authorized to make such a request, or to request additional information to confirm the agent’s identity. An authorized agent is prohibited from using a consumer’s personal information, or any information collected from or about the consumer, for any purpose other than to fulfill the consumer’s requests, for verification, or for fraud prevention.
6. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Protecting children’s privacy is important to us. We do not direct the Services to, nor do we knowingly collect any personal information from, children under the age of thirteen. If NLC Energy learns that a child under the age of thirteen has provided personally identifiable information to the Services, it will use reasonable efforts to remove such information from its files.
7. DATA SECURITY
We have taken certain physical, administrative, and technical steps to safeguard the information we collect from and about our customers and Services visitors. While we make every effort to help ensure the integrity and security of our network and systems, we cannot guarantee our security measures.
8. DATA STORAGE
Your personal information is stored on servers in the United States; however, some of our brands, subsidiaries, parent company, and Service Providers may store information on servers hosted in other countries. As such, your personal information may be subject to the laws of other countries, where the data protection and other laws may differ from those of the United States. Your personal information may be disclosed in response to inquiries or requests from government authorities or to respond to judicial process in the countries in which we operate.
9. REVISIONS TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify, add, remove, or otherwise revise portions of this Privacy Policy at any time. When we do, we will post the change(s) on the Services. Your continued use of the Services following the posting of changes to these terms means you accept these changes.
